John Phillips Tuition Series: Green Side Bunker Shots
Swing / Plugged Shots / Practice Drill

Practice Drill

Most golfers don't practice bunker shots, but it can save you up to 3 or 4 shots a round, depending on how well bunkered your course is.

Go to a practice bunker and draw two lines in the sand. One where the ball would be and one where you want to hit the sand. Once you can hit the second line very time, you will have mastered the green side bunker shot and the fear of leaving the ball in the bunker.
