The action of 02 Warm:down complements and enhances the beneficial effect of stretching, reducing muscle cramp when stretching alone is not enough (or is simply missed out)
active ingredients
Oils of Marjoram, Lavender, Juniperberry and Eucalyptus.
The gel incorporates Marjoram oil, which has a particularly valuable action when massaged into tired or tight muscles dilating the arteries on the tiny capillaries just beneath the skin, so producing a feeling of local warmth. The increase in local circulation helps to carry away toxic wastes from the muscle after heavy exercise. Detoxification is also helped by Juniper, reputed to be the most valuable oil for situations where the body needs to throw off toxic wastes, so helping to dispel the build up of lactic acid. Lavender has powerful analgesic properties reducing pain locally to the area to which it is applied as well as lowering the central nervous system's reaction to pain. The healing action of Eucalyptus completes the blend.
application
The gel is for use after physical exercise after showering or bathing. It is massaged onto clean, dry skin, paying particular attention to muscle areas that have been worked hard. Immediate relief is derived from the cooling nature of the gel but the soothing effects of its muscle relaxant properties quickly follow. The benefits are especially noticeable the next morning, when the reduction in anticipated soreness is significant.
Of particular importance to the golfer after a cold or cool day of golf or on holiday when overdoing the rounds of golf can lead to soreness and stiffness and subsequent injury or loss of playing time. |
