Wedges with a Punch

A new company has been formed by several names in the golfing industry - Punch Golf - headed up by Dave Rennie (President/Chief Designer), of True Temper fame.

The company has just launched two wedge seriess with a difference, one with four forgings and the other with two castings.

The wedges have a unique design, as Dave Rennie feels there are wedges on the market whose centre of gravity is too high, causing shots to go left.

"Since we handshape our forgings from soft carbon steel, we're able to grind the weight so the centre of gravity is directly in the centre".

All of the forged clubs are available in satin chrome finish or raw (warning - these will rust!) and have 52, 55, 57 and 60 degree lofts. They also feature Punch's "wedge-flex", a stiff flex with a mid to low kickpoint.

The cast heads have 55 and 60 degree lofts and are made from aluminimum bronze.
