Golf have lined up a new product to welcome in the new year.
The Precept
MC Tour Premium, a solid core ball with the feel performance of
a wound balata, is to be launched in January.
Kelly Ellis,
Precept's senior director of sales and marketing, said: "We have
been swamped with demand since we started taking orders for the
ball at the end of August. As a result, we've had to place the ball
on allocation."
The launch of
the MC Tour ball will follow the introduction of two other Bridgestone
balls - the Firestone DV (Distance Velocity) and DV Unlimited.
The 100-year-old
American tyre company contributed not only their name to the new
balls but also the rubber technology of their motor racing tyres.
These balls, priced at around £14 for a 15-pack of DVs and £17 for
DV Unlimiteds, will be packaged in racing red, white and black.
