AT A NEW TEACHING ACADEMY

World famous golfer Greg Norman will be giving personalised video golf lessons to visitors to Crondon Park Golf and Country Club during the grand opening of a new teaching academy from 13 September 1999.

Greg Norman has teamed up with Visual Edge Systems Limited to market his one-on-one personalised video golf lessons in the United Kingdom.

With this remarkable innovation, golf swings are recorded, using the latest high tech equipment. Greg Norman, who appears on each video and personally delivers commentary, will analyse each part of the swing and appraise the technique to give a bespoke lesson in the form of a 45 minute personalised video. The visitor will see ho their swing compares with Greg's when synchronised with is as they appear on screen side by side.

In addition, visitors to the club during the opening month not only have the opportunity to try the facilities free, but also have the chance of winning a round of golf with Greg Norman (free entry).

A new 14 bay driving range has been built at the club and other new facilities include 14 bay floodlit driving range, top of the range two-piece golf balls, a specialist short game practice area, target greens, fairways and bunkers, additional outdoor grass tees and fully equipped teaching bays. Paul Barham, Head PGA Professional and PGA Professional Freddie Sunderland are available to provide personal coaching.
