Club Car
UK, based at Abingdon in Oxfordshire has announced extensions
to the colour options for the Club Car range of petrol and
electric golf cards. As well as Dark Green, the options now
include new Classic Blue and Burgundy coloured bodyshells,
which complement the standard colours of beige, white or grey.
As before customised colours are also still available on request.
The distinctive
bodyshell of a Club Car golf car is moulded throughout in
the company's exclusive one-piece ARMORFLEX body material
which has a class A automotive finish. This resists denting,
cracking and even when scrapes and scratches do occur, they
do not cause a different colour to be revealed underneath.
The tough UV-protective coating gives each colour a lustrous
shine that will last for years.
Standard
features include an all-aluminimum frame giving an overall
weight some 50kg less than competitor's models, excellent
maneuverability with a turning circle of only 5.3 metres and
self-adjusting rack and pinion steering.
Safety
is a key aspect with automatic release park brake and dual
rear brakes; reverse warning buzzer; shock absorbers on all
four wheels and extra wide bench seat, arm rests and contoured
seat backs. Additional features include 4-ply rated tubeless
tyres, front-rear moulded protective bumpers, side rub rails
and dual drink holders as standard.
