Balls for juniors from Dunlop

Greeville, South Carolina -  Dunlop Golf is to launch a golf ball specifically made for junior golfers, the company announced today at its US headquarters.

The Dunlop Ti Distance Junior will be similar to the standard version, with a titanium cover, and will be introduced into the US this spring with a  retail price of about $11.99 a dozen. The launch for the UK will be in the second half of this year.

"Most junior golfers don't get maximum energy transfer from standard golf balls because the compression is too high for their swing speed," said John Calabria, vice president of research and development for Dunlop Maxfli. "The Dunlop Ti Distance Junior offers a lighter, lower compression that is more suitable for junior swings."
