Tiger headcover now available from Titleist

Fairhaven, MA- Titleist has introduced the official Tiger Woods Headcover which is an exact replica of the tiger headcover he uses on the driver he carries in his Titleist golf bag. It is endorsed by Tiger as his official club headcover.

"The official Tiger Woods Headcover by Titleist is unique because of the history behind the original," comments Jane Toole, Senior Marketing Manager, Titleist Golf Gloves and Accessories. "His mother, Kultida, wanted to give Tiger something to remind him of her presence when she could not be at his golf tournaments. After seeing a tiger headcover in a pro shop, she decided to make a special one for her son, personalizing it by embroidering 'Love from Mom' along the back of the headcover in her native Thai writing. She presented the headcover to Tiger as a Christmas gift in 1993 and it has been a constant companion in Tiger's golf bag as he continues his career as one of the game's most accomplished players."

The official Tiger Woods Headcover is made of the same fleece body material, lining and pattern as the original. The headcover should be available in golf shops in November.
