Deep Red Driver From Wilson

Wilson are introducing a new driver - the 'Deep Red' Fat Shaft - in a bid to keep up with Callaway and Taylor Made who have stormed the market
in recent months with their innovative products.

The Deep Red has a hi-tech design from head to grip and represents a variation on the Fat Shaft technology which aims to produce more stability and accuracy. The clubhead combines an oversized sweetspot with an extra thin face for greater response on impact with the ball.

But the most distinctive feature of the new driver is its colour - a deep red with a trend-setting translucent finish.

"It was a tough call to produce a driver that could deliver consistently to the same high standards of distance and accuracy as the Fat Shaft irons, but our design engineers have achieved it with the 'Deep Red' driver," said Angus Moir, business director of Wilson Golf in Europe.

The 'Deep Red' Fat Shaft Driver will be on sale throughout the UK from April 1 at a recommended retail price of £249. It will offer four loft degree options (7.5º, 9º, 10.5º and 12º) and comes in Extra Stiff, Stiff, Regular and Lite flexes.
