Collection Team Up With Sympatex
With

For
Autumn Winter 2001 Ping Collection has teamed up with Sympatex
to launch the latest in high-performance golf clothing that
is guaranteed to keep you warm and dry, even in the most severe
weather conditions.
Sympatex
is the lightest, most flexible, breathable, windproof, waterproof
membrane in the world. Its solid membrane structure prevents
wind and water from penetrating, but allows perspiration in
the form of moisture to escape freely. And, because the Sympatex
membrane is only 1/100th of a millimetre thick,
the weight of the garment only increases by 20gms!
The
Ping Sympatex panelled jacket, the Angers (£65 trade) and
pant, the Ashford (£45 trade) offer the ultimate in protection
from the elements on the fairway.
The
rain suit has impressive technical capabilities, being 100
times more waterproof than British Standards and made from
100% polyester peached microfibre, the 2-ply laminate is fully
waterproof, breathable and windproof.
Features
on the Angers include a full-length zip with velcro storm
flap, velcro and elasticated cuffs for extra windproofness
and heat retention and rubberised Ping branded zips.
The
Ashford has a draw string waist cord, 3 zippered pockets,
a ¼ zip leg for easy access and removal whilst wearing golf
shoes and velcro seals on the leg sections to allow free movement.
The
Angers is available in Black/Grey or Grey/Black and the Ashford
is available in Black, both are available in S-XXL sizes with
29", 31" and 33" leg length options. The Angers
and Ashford can be machine-washed or dry-cleaned as often
as necessary without reducing the performance of the clothing.
