One Up Golf changes hands and launches new ladies range

One Up Golf, the UK’s leading mail order golf fashion for women, today announced new ownership in the form of customer turned owner, Sue Binnie.

Binnie, who was previously marketing director for Avon cosmetics, only took up golf six years ago when taken on an ‘introduction to golf weekend’ in Portugal. On her return to the UK she was introduced to One Up Golf by a friend and immediately became a customer after realising the lack of availability of ladies golf apparel on the market.

Last summer the company came up for sale and Sue bought the assets of One Up Golf and seized the opportunity to put her creative design skills to the test and to offer an unparalleled range of smart and stylish golf apparel and accessories for women.

One Up Golf continues to set the pace in ladies’ apparel with its brand new Spring/Summer collection for 2001. The stunning new range will again build on its market share with lines that blend femininity with innovation and tradition to deliver a higher standard of performance as they reflect the sophisticated style of the game.

With its subtle colour schemes and with designs ranging from stylish to sporty, the new One Up Golf collection emulates the grace and elegance of its target audience with modern adaptations of classic looks.
