Practice
Makes Perfect at Home for Alison Nicholas
One
of Britain's leading lady golfers, Alison Nicholas, is the
latest in a growing list of tournament winners who have
selected a Huxley Golf all-weather green to practise putting
and pitching at home.

Former
US Open champion, Alison, joins Darren Clarke, Ian Woosnam
and a number of other well-known touring professionals who
have specified a Huxley Golf practice green to help fine
tune their short game in familiar and peaceful surroundings.
Installed
at Alison's West Midlands' home by Huxley Golf's appointed
area distributor, Intercity Ltd, the Huxley Golf green measures
430 square feet (40 square metres) and has three holes dedicated
to putting practice.
An area
of longer pile synthetic turf from Huxley Golf has been
laid adjacent to the main putting surface, enabling short
iron pitch shots to be played by Alison onto the green.
"It's
a true-to-life putting surface which is ideal for quality
golf practice at virtually anytime of the year," commented
Alison. "The run and condition of the Huxley Golf green
remain very constant, irrespective of the weather. I particularly
like the fact that I can work on any part of my short game
which needs attention without distractions and without concerns
about the state of the turf. Golfers of all standards will
benefit from practising on such a surface. I really enjoy
playing on it."
