Brands Launch Never Compromise Putters in the UK
Never
Compromise putters feature a unique three-piece technology
that incorporates a complete midsection made of Gray Matter,
an ultra-lightweight polymer composite. This midsection constitutes
only 10% of the putter head’s total weight. With 90% of the
head’s weight in the heel and toe, Never Compromise Z½
Series putters resist twisting on off-centre hits, resulting
in more accuracy, better feel, forgiveness and distance control.
In addition, the trademarked Black/Grey/Black colour scheme
is very distinctive both on the course and in store.
Launched
in the US in 1998, Never Compromise soon became popular with
top players. In less than 8 months Never Compromise became
number one on the LPGA and Senior PGA Tours with more victories,
more money won and more top ten finishes than any first year
company ever. Success on Tour continued and the company notched
up 67 victories worldwide in just under three years, including
the Nissan LA Open, the FedEx St Jude Classic and the Sprint
International.
PGA Tour
Player, Jean Van de Velde holds the all-time record for the
fewest putts ever in a British Open tournament (101) earning
him the reputation as one of the best putters in professional
golf. Van de Velde returned to Carnoustie in December 1999
in an attempt to better his infamous triple-bogey using only
his Never Compromise putter where he eventually scored a 6.
By establishing
a superior performance record across its entire product range,
Never Compromise is expected to become the putter of choice
for even more professional players in 2001. USP Brands see
Never Compromise as the perfect addition to their existing
portfolio and are pleased to be able to offer this premium
range from mid June at an RRP of £109.
