Steeling the Light from Graphite

Nippon Golf Shaft Company of Japan, has appointed a new company, CQI Golf as sole distributor for its range of steel shafts in the UK.

CQI will be offering pro shops a wide range of products suitable for both the amateur and professional golfer. The range includes special ultra-light multi alloy shafts that compete with graphite shafts for lightness and bring the added advantage of maximum control and accuracy.

Shafts are produced to a tight weight tolerance as low as plus or minus 1g, stepped to aid perfect balance for any length and come in ranges that offer high, mid or low kick points to suit the ability of individual players. The lightest way in at only 95g, making use of premium alloy steels that give superior feel, accuracy and consisttency of performance.

From graphite-challenging ultra light, to standard weight steel shafts, there's a choice to match every type of head from wood through to putter.

Nippon Golf Shaft Company have been producing shafts for over 40 years for the global market, and this is the first time they have been available in the UK.
