Officially launched at this year's PGA Merchandise Show, the Towel on the Green is a product from a new company, English Greens, based in the US. The basic concept centres on the countless times virtually all golfers have found themselves standing on the green with no easy, or convenient way to clean their grass stained or dirty bill. Invariably they forgot their "bag towel" which they left behind on their cart. So they're left with the only alternative, giving their ball a wipe on that expensive golf shirt or trousers!

Robert Forbush, one of America's top golf consultants and the past VP of marketing at Titleist for 20 years, as well as CEO of both FootJoy and Macgregor Golf says, "This is one of those ideas that you're going to hit yourself on the head saying "Why didn't I think of that"!

Towel on the Green has come up with a unique and efficient way to always have a wet towel literally at your side. The "Wet Pocket" holds moisture within it. You simply drop your ball in and rub it clean. It's also handy to clean, wipe or dry your equipment or hands out on the course.

The towel has a smooth plastic tongue sewn into the rear, making it easy to slide into a waistband or belt, without it getting in the way of your swing.
