Titleist
975D Driver Summer Promotion
Titleist
is offering all its customers the chance to get as much
as £35 off one of its new breed of Titleist 975F Fairway
Metal woods when they buy a Titleist 975D Driver.
As
a special incentive to golfers in the United Kingdom and
Ireland, anyone who purchases one of the popular Titleist
Titanium 975D drivers will automatically receive a voucher
worth either £35, redeemable against a 975F Fairway Metal
with a graphite shaft or £25, redeemable against a 975F
Fairway metal with a steel shaft. The
offer is available at all of Titleist's UK and Ireland driver
stockists throughout July and August.
Since
its introduction three seasons ago, the Titleist Titanium
975D driver has become the most successful driver on the
US PGA Tour. Last year alone, the Titleist Titanium 975D
driver captured over 60 Tour victories around the world
and so far this year it has been the most played driver
at every full field event on the US Tour, including both
of the first two Majors of the season.
The
Titleist Titanium 975D driver is used by some of the world's
best and most exciting golfers, including Tiger Woods, Davis
Love III and Sergio Garcia, to name but a few, and now they
have the incentive to pair it with the best fairway metal
on the market.
The
new Titleist 975F Fairway Metal, launched in the UK and
Ireland market in June, has adopted the traditional appearance
of the successful Titleist Titanium 975D driver. Cast from
stainless steel, it features a clean, classic shape profile
but, by increasing the thickness of the sole plate, while
at the same time reducing the relative thickness of the
face and the skirt wall, it has enabled Titleist engineers
to produce a club which has a lower centre of gravity (relative
to the 975D driver), resulting in increased ball speed,
a higher launch angle and a sweet, solid feel from the fairway.
A moderately shallow face and increased vertical roll further
enhance the initial launch angle and the leading edge is
chamfered and the sole plate crowned in the centre to provide
playability from all types of lies. With three loft options,
at 12.5, 13.5 and 14.5 degrees, combined with a large variety
of shafts, Titleist have furnished the golfer with 11 options
for right-handed players, including the lady golfer, and
6 for the left-handed player. The recommended retail price
is £140 for a Titleist 975F Fairway Metal with a steel shaft
and £200 for a 975F Fairway Metal with a graphite shaft.
