What the Players Say

Product:
|
Taylor
Made Golf® has unveiled the industry-unique 300 Series™
Metalwoods® (300ti, 320ti, 360ti) – the first line of
Metalwoods ever to help individual players use their
specific swing characteristics to their advantage.
|
|
Industry
Problem:
|
Every
player has a different swing, each producing a distinct
ball flight off the face of the club.
Unfortunately,
no one single club optimises their natural launch conditions.
|
|
Taylor
Made Solution:
|
Taylor
Made studied thousands of swings from the best players
around the world, finding the characteristics ranging
from a faster, more aggressive swing to a slower, smoother
swing with a large rotation.
The
company then focused on the club itself, finding that
there were a set group of characteristics that helped
individual golfers succeed on the course.
These
characteristics are: size, shape and centre of gravity.
|
|
Unique
process:
|
The
300 Series Metalwood feature ultra lightweight, cast
body titanium club heads. The club faces are constructed
from cold-formed SP-700, a high strength titanium alloy
with remarkable notch sensitivity. The SP-700 is then
processed into sheets than have been cold-formed to
shape and welded to the cast body, with each club head
polished and finished traditionally by hand.
This
construction method allows Taylor Made to maximise structural
integrity and efficiently distribute weight in the clubhead.
Additionally, this process allows the company to provide
the highest ball speed (COR) of any Taylor Made Metalwood
ever.
