300 SERIES UNVEILED

Any dedicated golfer can tell you – every player has a different swing. And most can also tell you the difficulty in finding the right driver for their unique swing.

In answer to their needs, Taylor Made has developed the 300 series of drivers (300ti, 320ti and 360ti). Which is the first ever line of metalwoods to help the individual player use their specific swing characteristics to their advantage.

“The ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach simply doesn’t work with drivers any more”, said Ryan Lauder, European product manager. “To get maximum distance off the tee while maintaining control, a golfer shouldn’t have to change his swing to suit the club. They’ve got to keep it consistent. The 300 series allows you to do this, as you are able to select the club that is most suitable for your swing.”

State-of-the-Art Titanium Materials and High-Tech Construction

The 300 series features lightweight, cast body titanium club heads. The club faces are constructed from SP-700, a high-strength titanium alloy with remarkable notch sensitively. The SP-700 is processed into sheets and then cold-formed to shape and welded to the cast body, with each club head polished and finished traditionally by hand.

This construction method allows Taylor Made to maximise structural integrity and efficiently distribute weight in the clubhead. Additionally, this process allows the company to provide the highest ball speed off the face (COR) of any Taylor Made metal wood.

Different Folks have Different Strokes

With the 300ti, 320ti and the 360ti models share the same high performance titanium material and construction, they each vary in size (cc), shape (height and depth of clubhead) and weight distribution (CG location, shaft and length).

300ti Driver – for low handicap players

The 300ti driver is designed to provide the better player with a flatter, more boring trajectory  through a lower launch angle and height CG. Its classic 300cc head shape is preferred by the better layer and along with the narrower tip diameter, helps better players to shape and work the ball. The standard shift will be a lightweight conventional graphite shaft, with the option of custom fitting with a selection of leading graphite shafts, or the latest version of the company’s Bubble shaft.

320ti Driver – for low/mid handicap players

The 320ti Driver has a larger head size (320cc) and shape for added forgiveness and improved heel/toe inertia, as well as providing a medium trajectory and launch angle for the serious player that requires ‘ease of play’, coupled with workability. As with the 300ti, the standard shaft will be a lightweight conventional shaft, with the option of custom fitting with a selection of leading graphite shafts, or the latest version of the company’s famous Bubble shaft.

360ti Driver – for mid/high handicap players

The 360ti driver has the largest head size (360cc) for maximum forgiveness and playability through a deeper and longer head design that provides a high launch angle for ease of play, whilst encouraging a right-to-left biased ball flight. The standard shaft for the 360ti will be the latest version of the company’s famous Bubble shaft.
