Odyssey
Plan New Putters
Odyssey Golf
are set to introduce a new line of high-performance premium
putters next year.
The Odyssey
TriHot putters will feature the proprietary insert technology
of the company's White Hot putters in tandem with the tungsten-weighting
technology originally used in the TriForce products.
The body of
each putter is milled from soft carbon steel for precision,
then nickel-plated for durability. An insert made from the
same material as the Callaway Golf "Rule 35" ball
is machined into the head to provide "exceptionally soft
feel with consistent distance control with all kinds of golf
balls." The putters also incorporate a heavy tungsten
weight flange attached to the rear of the head.
Odyssey TriHot
Putters will initially be available in three models: A mallet,
a scoop-back blade and a heel-toe weighted blade.
The Callaway-owned
company also plans to add three new putters to their Odyssey
White Hot range.
